AEW Star Officially Becomes A Free Agent
An AEW star has shared their company status, declaring themselves as a free agent.
Lady Frost, real name Brittany Steding, is mainly an independent wrestler, known for her sporadic appearances in All Elite Wrestling and its sister promotion Ring of Honor.
She made her official debut in the Jacksonville-based company in May 2023, losing to Taya Valkyrie. The following month, she suffered another loss while unsuccessfully challenging then-TBS Champion Kris Statlander on Collision.
Since starting her professional wrestling career in 2018, Frost has represented several other promotions, including NWA, CMLL, and TNA. She was also featured in a squash loss to Asuka in WWE during the March 26, 2018, episode of Raw.
The 41-year-old wrestler took to X to announce her free agency. While at it, she thanked Tony Khan and AEW for the good memories.
As of today, I am a free agent. I want to thank @TonyKhan for being an incredibly kind and passionate boss. I had some of the most incredible moments with @AEW and I am so grateful for the years that I spent there.
For now, I’m on the hunt. Onto the next…— Lady Frost (@RealLadyFrost) April 1, 2026
Another Wrestler Announces AEW Departure
Lady Frost was not the only wrestler leaving AEW on April 1.
Willie Mack, who had made sporadic appearances in both All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor, announced his departure as well. However, unlike Frost, his tweet contained salty elements, as he accused the company of thinking that he was not worth their money.
When ya boy is about to become a homeless superhero because the booker doesn’t think he’s worth the money. #WhereTheBestWrestle
While he did not reference the promotion directly, the #WhereTheBestWrestle is a hashtag AEW often uses on social media posts.
It’s like for 2 years straight I’d call every week and ask if you got anything for me? You signed right? You still getting paid right? I want to Wrestle, he continued.
Mack’s last appearance under the All Elite banner was in December 2025.
