According to a new report, one of the stars of AEW has been known to loudly berate opponents backstage.

Over the last few months, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa has become a source of controversy. According to Fightful Select, the star is said to have heat with other top AEW wrestlers including Britt Baker and is also allegedly on bad terms with Jamie Hayter after a stiff strike from Rosa broke Hayter’s nose.

Now, FanByte has reported that AEW officials claim Rosa has a ‘history of berating opponents’ and ‘talking down to colleagues’.

The report quotes a talent as saying that Thunder Rosa accused her of lacking basic wrestling fundamentals while a former colleague believed Rosa to be unsafe in the ring during her time in Lucha Underground.

One extra who has appeared on Dark and Dark: Elevation recalled Rosa “yelling so loudly” at another extra that she could hear it down the hall.

However, not everyone has a negative opinion of the Women’s Champion, with two extras telling FanByte that they had entirely positive experiences with the star. One recalled Rosa chatting with them about wrestling in general.

“When I was backstage at AEW she was actually one of the few that sat down with me and a couple of my friends to just chat about the business. Nothing but positive interactions with her.”

On the August 24th edition of Dynamite, Rosa announced that she will be unable to take part in her scheduled title defence against Toni Storm at All Out pay-per-view due to injury.

Instead, a Four-way match featuring Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida, and Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D will take place at the event to determine the interim champion.
