AEW Star Said It “F**king Sucked” To Miss All In London

Wide crowd shot from AEW All In 2023

A top AEW star wasn’t very happy about missing the All In London event at Wembley Stadium.

Ricky Starks has been prominently featured on AEW television all year. Earlier this year, he challenged Maxwell Jacob Friedman for the AEW World Title. Starks also had a feud with Chris Jericho that Starks won.

Recently, Starks has been a regular wrestler on Saturday’s AEW Collision show. There was a storyline suspension for Starks during his rivalry with CM Punk and it meant that Starks was left off the AEW All In London event.

During a Starrcast media scrum with a video provided by WrestlingNewsco ahead of AEW All Out, Ricky Starks made it clear he wasn’t happy about missing AEW All In London.

“What’s on the horizon, honestly, I’m still pretty pissed off. I’m a very scorned individual because nothing has seemingly gone my way. I was suspended, and that kept me out of All In, which sucked because I had to watch from home, and I want everyone watching this to understand, that s**t f**king sucked, and I don’t want to do it again.”

“To come back into the ring, now, after the suspension is up, I don’t know. I’m going to still do what I did before I left, but there is a lot more visceral anger that I’m still holding onto, and rightfully so.”

It’s possible that Starks’ comments were in character since he’s a heel on AEW TV, but they could be genuine too.

Ricky Starks Will Be In A Strap Match At AEW All Out

On last night’s AEW Collision episode in Chicago, Ricky Starks was involved in a promo segment with WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat. It was then that instead of Starks facing Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat in a Strap Match at AEW All Out, Starks will face the “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson in a Strap Match instead. Danielson is back after missing over two months with a broken arm injury.
