AEW Star Defends Controversial “Low Price” Private Texting Service

A major name in AEW thinks a private texting service is a great deal for wrestling fans.

Mercedes Mone is a former TBS Champion who has become one of the biggest names in AEW during her two years in the company.

During her time in AEW, Mone also won many other titles from independent wrestling promotions and carried them onto television for much of the past year. At her peak, she held 13 titles at once. While Mone is no longer the TBS Champion, she is still one of the top women’s wrestlers in the company.

Because of her WWE tenure as Sasha Banks for nearly a decade before joining AEW, Mone is also one of the most well-known women’s wrestlers in the world.

In May 2025, Mone announced that she was launching a texting service on her website for $99.99 per month.

“My super fans have always been my super friends. Now, like friends, they can text me directly and privately. I’m so excited to finally be able to connect this way. Sign up and text me now!” – Mercedes

AEW’s Mercedes Mone Really Does Interact With Her Fans

There are celebrities with texting services that charge users much less than $99.99 monthly, but most of the messages are generic ones that go out to the general public.

During the February 16, 2026, episode of We Playin’ Spades with Nick Cannon, Mercedes Mone explained that she actually interacts with fans for the “low price” of $99.99 per month.

“I’m a CEO because there are so many people who say, ‘Oh, I’m talking to you, I’m messaging you,’ and they’re getting scammed. So I’m like, how about you really do talk to me? You talk to the person you love, but you’ve got to pay me a month. I’ll text you whenever I’m free.”

Mone made it clear that there was nothing inappropriate about the texting service she was doing.

“People are paying me a month to text me. No sexy stuff. These are just my legit fans. It’s the Moné crew—the people that love me, respect me, and want to know about the ins and outs of my day, how I’m feeling, what it’s like being a CEO. And I teach them. I’m a CEO for a reason. Isn’t that great? A low price. Brilliant idea. It’s very low.” (H/T Ringsidenews)

Mercedes Mone said goodbye to AEW in early January, and a return hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s likely Mone will be coming for more gold when she comes back.
