AEW Revolution Location Possibly Revealed

AEW Revolution

As the year marches on, the thoughts of the wrestling world could already be on 2023 with a new report revealing the front runner for the host of the next AEW Revolution show.

The first AEW Revolution pay-per-view took place in February 2020 and in the main event Jon Moxley defeat Chris Jericho in the main event to capture the AEW World Championship in Chicago, Illinois. One year later Daily’s Place was the host for the event that saw Moxley headline once again, this time in a loss to AEW Champion Kenny Omega in the infamous Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch.

Orlando, Florida was the home to 2022’s Revolution which saw Hangman Adam Page defeat Adam Cole in the main event to retain the AEW World Championship. The event is probably best remembered however for the bloody Dog Collar Match that saw CM Punk finally defeat MJF.

Now Fightful Select has issued a report seemingly indicating where AEW Revolution could be held in 2023, with potentially some good news for fans on the west coast of the United States.

San Francisco’s legendary Cow Palace has emerged as the front runner to host the event with no date set in stone. The report notes that if Revolution does emanate from the arena it will be the first wrestling held there since the G1 Special promoted by New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2019.

This could be only the second time that AEW has held shows in California after they held shows in Los Angeles and Ontario following Double Or Nothing earlier in 2022.
