AEW Seemingly Remove CM Punk From AEW Fight Forever Cover

CM Punk

PlayStation recently dropped a fresh trailer for All Elite Wrestling’s first video game, AEW Fight Forever.

Included in the trailer are game review snippets coming from critics such as IGN and Famistu. During the video, AEW stars’ in-game characters are shown, features MJF, Orange Cassidy, Thunder Rosa, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, as well as others. The trailer also uses real-life footage of AEW talent, such as Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, Britt Baker and Hangman Page. Also, Moxley and Page would speak during the trailer, talking about the career modes and create-a-wrestler abilities in the game.

What caught the most attention, however, was the graphic revealed at the end of the trailer, with AEW appearing to take CM Punk out of it. CM Punk was previously featured on the cover as the centerpiece, but he hasn’t been on All Elite Wrestling programming since his media scrum brawl after the AEW All Out pay-per-view. CM Punk was last seen publicly doing commentary for an MMA event.

Currently, a release date for AEW Fight Fover isn’t known, but All Elite Wrestling teased that a special preview of the video game will be broadcasted AEW Full Gear.

AEW Fight Forever will include all kinds of modes and matches to fight in, including the Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere bouts, and Unsanctioned Lights-Out and Exploding Barbed Wire Death Matches.
