AEW Officially Sign Homegrown Star

AEW

AEW’s women’s division officially has a new member as Skye Blue has now signed a deal with the company that makes her All Elite.

Since making her first appearance in AEW in April 2021, 23-year-old Skye Blue has competed in 78 matches for the promotion and a further three for the Tony Khan-owned Ring of Honor – not bad for someone who wasn’t officially signed.

Skye Blue is currently involved in the women’s division’s war against The Outcasts of Ruby Soho, Toni Storm, and Saraya as the former WWE stars have become a menace to those that have made their name in All Elite Wrestling. Blue lost to Storm on the 22nd of March edition of Dynamite, two weeks after she also suffered a loss at the hands of Soho.

Taking to social media, Tony Khan announced the signing of Skye Blue in the usual fashion as he declared the young star to now be All Elite:

“Some great news for Easter Weekend: One of @AEW’s rising homegrown stars @Skyebyee
is officially All Elite! Wishing everyone the best on Good Friday! Don’t miss a great night of wrestling TONIGHT live on TNT starting 10pm ET/9pm CT after Furious 7! #AEWRampage #BattleOfTheBelts”

The news of Blue’s signing with the company comes just days after they announced that former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Jay White had also penned a deal with AEW.
