7-Time World Champion Sets Major Condition For WWE Return
A WWE legend is open to returning under one condition.
Trish Stratus initially retired from in-ring competition at Unforgiven in 2006. She has since made several returns to the squared circle in the promotion.
In late 2022, The Diva of the Decade made a full-time comeback for a second run, during which she turned heel and had an iconic feud with Becky Lynch. Her second stint ended in September 2023 following her loss to The Man in a Steel Cage match at Payback.
Since then, Stratus has made several WWE appearances, reverting to being a babyface again.
Will Trish Stratus Make Another WWE Comeback?
Last year, the seven-time Women’s Champion celebrated her 25 years of Stratusfaction. She competed in three matches, including a WWE Women’s Championship one against Tiffany Stratton at Evolution last July.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the 50-year-old legend addressed a possible return to the ring. She revealed that she has one condition for making a comeback.
I need to see the landscape. I’m very storyline driven. And for me, is it gonna be interesting for the fans? Is it something they wanna see? Is it gonna elevate someone? And of course, there’s like the storyline behind it. I love the story, I wanna make sure it makes sense and I wanna make sure the landscape makes sense for me to enter into. [H/T: SI]
