4-Time Champion Confirms WWE Release: “Thank You For Always Being With Me”

WWE wrapped up its biggest premium live event of the year, WrestleMania 42, last weekend, and shortly after, dropped a massive bombshell with a large round of releases. According to reports, over 20 superstars have been released from the company.

The entire Wyatt Sicks faction, including leader Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy), Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Loomis, has been let go. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega were also released. The Motor City Machine Guns, Santos Escobar, Zoey Stark, and Alba Fyre were among the other names released from the company.

One of the biggest names released by WWE that left fans stunned was Kairi Sane. Sane had been actively involved in a storyline with Damage CTRL and Asuka over the past few years.

Following her release, Kairi Sane took to Twitter to confirm that she is indeed leaving WWE. She penned an emotional goodbye message to the WWE Universe, thanking them for their love and support throughout the years. Sane wrote:

I’m truly grateful to have people like you by my side. Thank you for always being with me. I’ll set sail… in my own time Until then… I love you

WWE Superstars Bid Farewell To Kairi Sane

Several superstars, including Asuka, Jade Cargill, Jacob Fatu, Nikki Bella, and Brie Bella, also shared emotional messages, saying goodbye to their locker room mate.

Asuka: No matter what, I’ll always be in your corner, Kairi. I’ll never leave you feeling alone.

Jade Cargill: Will miss you Kairi. One of the sweetest in the locker room. Always love and respect. Thank you for dancing with me

Jacob Fatu: Thank you for your love & kindness!I enjoyed meeting your family as well

Nikki and Brie Bella: Kairi!! Love you! You have so much more to give in this industry and you have already given so much. You’re truly an inspiration and such an incredible talent. Going to miss you! I can’t wait to watch all the incredible things you will continue to do!! Locker room won’t be the same without you.
