This young star from WWE has shared a health update.

WWE star Tyson Dupont, who wrestles in NXT, WWE’s developmental brand, revealed that he is going to have hip surgery for his hip that has been giving him pain since July 2025.

The Brick took to X to address his fans and give them the update, along with a motivational message.

Today’s the day. Finally getting hip surgery. I’ve been dealing with some pain in my hip for a very long time, since about July of last year. Pushed through to the best I could to make sure I didn’t miss any opportunities.

But, God’s timing. When it’s time, it’s time so, today we’re taking care of that. Minor setback for a major comeback. The Brick will be back in no time. But until then, best believe the grind continues. We’re still chasing greatness because the best is always yet to come. Let’s get it.

Tyson Dupont Has Worked In WWE NXT And TNA

TNA and NXT are known for their crossovers, and although Dupont has been working as a part of the NXT tag team, The High Ryze with Tyriek Igwe, he debuted in TNA on January 23rd, 2025, and subsequently wrestled in matches there as well.

As Dupont undergoes hip surgery and subsequent rehabilitation, NXT will be hosting its major event, Stand And Deliver, this Saturday, April 4th.

Some standout matches from the event include Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Blake Monroe for the NXT Women’s North American Championship and a fatal four-way bout for the NXT Championship between Ethan Page, Ricky Saints, Tony D’Angelo, and Champion Joe Hendry.

WWE’s famous luchador team, The Americanos (Rayo and Bravo), will also be in a match for the NXT Tag Team Championships against The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes).
