2-Time WWE Tag Team Champions Officially Debut In AEW
Former WWE tag team champions have made their official debut in AEW.
On the January 17 episode of Collision, The Rascalz cut a promo during a backstage segment with Lexy Nair. In doing so, the faction members confirmed their availability in traditional tag matches as well as trios bouts.
While Trey Miguel is also a part of the stable, he was missing from the promo, reportedly due to a traveling issue.
Before joining the Florida-based company, The Rascalz were signed with Total Nonstop Action since 2023.
At 2025 Emergence, Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz challenged The Hardys for the Impact World Tag Team Championship, but were defeated. They had previously held the title in 2023 for 55 days.
The faction also had a decent run in WWE between 2020 and 2022, appearing as MSK. They were released in April, but returned a couple of years later in 2024.
They were even featured in storylines where they clashed against each other. At the time, Xavier competed under the name Wes Lee. He was released in October 2025.
A few days ago, a report by Fightful Select revealed that Reed, Wentz, Miguel, and Dezmond Xavier had all decided to leave TNA after their contracts expired.
On the January 14 episode of AEW Dynamite, a video aired revealing that The Rascalz had signed with the promotion.
