During this week’s edition of Smackdown Live, 2017 Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton told WWE Champion Bray Wyatt that he refuses to face him at WrestleMania 33 on April 2.

On the WWE Network’s Talking Smack after-show following Smackdown Live, Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan announced that on next week’s episode, there will be a Battle Royal to determine who the new number one contender will be to challenge Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 33.

The participants of the Battle Royal have not yet officially been announced, except for the fact that AJ Styles will be a part of it.

Mark’s reaction: Although this Battle Royal is taking place, I still think Orton will face Wyatt at WrestleMania. Maybe it’ll be made into a triple threat match now, or some other shenanigans will happen, but I still feel like Orton will end up facing Wyatt.
