Kenny Omega Puts The Elite In Massive Match At AEW Double Or Nothing

The Elite AEW Young Bucks Okada Jack Perry

The Elite will have to compete in a dangerous tag team match at AEW Double or Nothing in a match that Kenny Omega made.

In the main event of AEW Dynamite in Winnipeg, Kenny Omega addressed the hometown crowd about how he’s been through a lot, but he was going to keep fighting to come back from diverticulitis.

While the likable Omega was cheered throughout the promo, he was also greeted by The Elite’s Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, and The Young Bucks – Matthew & Nicholas Jackson. The Young Bucks and Omega have been allies for most of the last 15 years, but the recent actions of The Young Bucks show they have changed. That segment on Dynamite ended with Omega getting beat up by The Elite.

AEW Dynamite was in Edmonton when Kenny Omega appeared from a hospital bed with an announcement. Omega announced that at Double or Nothing on May 26th, The Elite group will be in an Anarchy in the Arena match. Their opponents will be FTR’s Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler and a team to be named later.

Who Joined Team AEW Against The Elite?

During the overrun minutes of AEW Dynamite, The Elite’s Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Kazuchika Okada & Jack Perry did a promo in the ring. They accepted the Anarchy in the Arena match that Omega booked while wondering who FTR could get to be their tag team partners.

That led to the interruption from FTR’s Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler. They were joined by their Team AEW teammates “Mad King” Eddie Kingston and the returning Bryan Danielson, who was back after his incredible match with Will Ospreay at Dynasty last month. There was a wild brawl between The Elite and Team AEW. Referees and others ran into the ring to break it up. That’s how Dynamite ended.

The Anarchy in the Arena match is something that AEW has done several times before where the two teams have a chaotic brawl all around the arena.
