Toni Storm Not Getting Clash With WWE Hall Of Famer

Toni Storm AEW

AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm says whatever she wants but she might have to stop talking about one WWE Hall of Famer.

Toni Storm is simply timeless as she unravelled in her quest to become AEW Women’s World Champion. Believing herself to be a movie star from Hollywood’s golden age, she’s been enabled by her butler Luther and her ‘child’ Mariah May.

Despite the mental concerns, Storm has found a great deal of success in the ring as she continues to hold the AEW Women’s World Championship that she won from Hikaru Shida at Full Gear. Since then Storm has taken potshots at several WWE Hall of Famers, including a bizarre rant against Nikki Bella that involved a reference to an unusual candle fragrance.

Toni Storm Wants Clash With Wendi Richter

Given her timeless nature, Toni Storm hasn’t let stars from yesteryear off the hook either as she has vowed to take on former WWE Women’s Champion Wendi Richter. Richter was at the forefront of WWE’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling Connection and won the second of her WWE titles at the first-ever WrestleMania.

But now it seems any hope of a showdown between Toni Storm and Wendi Richter won’t be happening and it’s not because Richter is 63 years old.

Fightful Select has reported that Wendi Richter won’t be appearing in AEW and Toni Storm is likely to stop making reference to the star. It is noted that AEW considered an appearance for Richter but it was found out that she is currently under a WWE Legends deal making such an eventuality highly unlikely. Richter had previously said she’d appear in AEW to confront Storm for the right money but it doesn’t look like such an appearance is on the cards.
