Another WWE Judgment Day Star Facing Injury Layoff

Judgment Day WWE WrestleMania

It has been a very up and down few weeks for The Judgment Day and now it seems another member of WWE Raw’s top group is suffering from an injury.

WrestleMania 40 saw Rhea Ripley retain her Women’s World Championship over Becky Lynch while Damian Priest and Finn Balor lost out in a huge ladder match leaving them without either set of tag team championships. However, one night later, Damian Priest cashed in Money In The Bank on Drew McIntyre to leave Philadelphia as World Heavyweight Champion.

What a difference a couple of weeks can make as Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate the Women’s World Title due to injury leaving Damian Priest the only member of the group with gold. As seen on Monday Night Raw, it seems another member of the group will also be forced to miss some time from the ring.

Fightful Select noted after Dominik Mysterio appeared on Raw wearing a sling that he is suffering a legitimate injury. Mysterio was pulled from the recent European tour and replaced by Ricochet and was originally set to team with Santos Escobar on Raw but ended up being replaced by his Judgment Day partner JD McDonagh. There is no known timetable for Dominik Mysterio’s return to action.

Judgment Day In Turmoil On WWE Raw

On Raw in Columbus, it seemed things were falling apart for The Judgment Day as Damian Priest came face-to-face with his first challenger, Jey Uso. JD McDonagh went to attack Uso but Jey got the better of it and went to hit him with a superkick. McDonagh ducked and he nailed the World Heavyweight Champion instead leaving Priest annoyed at his partner.

Later in the night, McDonagh and Santos Escobar lost to Ricochet and Andrade with an irate Damian Priest taking out both men after the match. He then sent a stark warning to Mysterio and McDonagh that they need him and he doesn’t need them.
