The John Report: WWE Raw Deal 07/13/26 Review

It’s WWE Monday Night Raw, featuring a Roman Reigns-Seth Rollins contract, a Gauntlet Match for a shot at the Intercontinental Title, and more.

Last week’s Raw featured a big title change, with CM Punk returning after three months off to end Sami Zayn’s Undisputed WWE Championship reign. Zayn held the WWE Title for just 9 days. Punk has been moved to SmackDown officially and will defend the WWE Title against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.

On a personal note, I will not be reviewing the July 17th SmackDown or the July 18th Saturday Night’s Main Event shows live due to a family wedding on the 18th. A very important family member is getting married, so I need to be with my family, including the night before the wedding. I’ll probably have recaps of both shows on July 19th, or maybe even the 20th. It depends on how I’m feeling. For what it’s worth, I haven’t had a week off since May 2025, and I don’t miss many shows, but sometimes I need to focus on things other than wrestling. That’s life.
