It’s WWE Monday Night Raw, featuring The Vision facing The Street Profits, Brie Bella & Paige against Bayley & Lyra Valkyria, and more.

The WWE Night of Champions PLE takes place this Saturday, June 27th. The WWE crew has already made part of their trip since Raw is from London, England this week, with a 2 p.m. ET start time on Netflix. SmackDown is being taped tomorrow night in London, too. That will air in the usual Friday timeslot.

This is the Raw Deal for episode #1726 of Monday Night Raw, taking place at the O2 Arena in London, England. Follow me on Twitter/X @johnreport. Let’s get to it.

They showed some superstars walking around before the show as usual. There are over 13,000 fans in attendance at this show, so it’s a big crowd.

Let’s Hear from Oba Femi and Jey Uso

Oba Femi made his entrance to a big ovation as the fans chanted “Oba” for him, and they showed fans doing the Femi strut in the crowd. Oba is in the King of the Ring Finals against Jey Uso.

Femi said that the fans in London were wonderful. Femi said as much as he would love to hear the fans chant his name all night…so they kept doing “Oba” chants. Femi tried to move on, saying he’s been backed by destiny since he was born. Femi said that destiny that led him to WWE and to slay The Beast (Brock Lesnar) and it has led him this far in this tournament. Femi said this weekend at Night of Champions, destiny will take him to new heights as he becomes the King of the Ring. Femi said when he becomes king, he has to choose the champion of his choosing – does he go after the WWE Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship? Oba paused for the interruption…and here’s Jey Uso.

Jey Uso made his entrance from the back part of the arena as the fans were Yeeting with Jey on his way to the ring. Jey was on his own without his brother Jimmy.

When Jey got into the ring with Femi, the fans wanted Jey to run it back, but Femi said he’ll put an end to that. Jey ignored that and did some more Yeeting with the fans.

Jey reminded Oba: “I’m him.” Jey did his line about how “Main Event” Jey Uso is in your city. Jey said he is used to being counted out. Jey said he was counted out when he won the Royal Rumble and World Heavyweight Championship. Jey kept talking about shouting arenas. Jey said he’s going to shock the world. Jey said he’s going to wear the crown to become King of the Ring. Jey said he’s going to take the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes. Jey told Oba this is his warning shot.

Femi said he’s assuming that at Night of Champions, Jey is shooting for real. Femi told Jey not to miss because if he does, Femi will destroy him. Femi said he’ll still destroy him. Femi said that Jey is not the family he’s worried about and told Jey to give the bullets to his cousin as a reference to Roman Reigns, courtesy of the Ruler, Oba Femi. The fans chanted “Oba” again as Femi’s music played.

Analysis: It was a babyface exchange of promos. No brawl or fight here. The fans are solidly behind both guys, but I think they like Femi more than Jey at this point, and the fans see Femi as a huge star. I think Femi winning King of the Ring would be great, but I don’t know if it’s going to happen because Brock Lesnar may show up to cost Femi. I’m not firm on a prediction yet, but I think Femi winning would be cool.

The commentary team of Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcomed us to the show.

A clip aired of Jacob Fatu attacking Eric Andre last week after Roman Reigns told Fatu to do it.

LA Knight spoke to Raw GM Adam Pearce, complaining about Pearce letting Roman do anything he wants with The Bloodline. Pearce said that Fatu paid a fine for what he did. Jimmy Uso interrupted to argue with Knight about his recent actions. Pearce put Knight in a match with Jimmy while Knight suggested the match and then acted like he didn’t hear Pearce say it. Anyway, the Knight-Jimmy match is on.

Brie Bella and Paige made their entrance as the Women’s Tag Team Champions. Paige is in her home country of England, so of course, the fans loved her. They went on a break there for some fans and showed a clip of Rey Mysterio on The Undertaker’s podcast.

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were interviewed by Jackie Redmond in the backstage area. Lyra said they need this, and this is their time. Bayley said they’ve been the best team in this division for a long time. Bayley claimed it’s all or nothing for them. They made their entrance.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Brie Bella & Paige vs. Lyra Valkyria & Bayley

It was noted by Cole that Paige had a lot of family there, including her parents. Lyra started with a running kick and dropkick on Paige. Bayley tagged in with a cradle on Paige for two. Brie tagged in with a double knee attack. Brie and Paige hit a double bulldog on Bayley. Brie did some kicks to Bayley, but then Bayley hit a belly-to-back suplex. Bayley hit a neckbreaker off the middle ropes. Bayley hit Bayley to Belly on Brie, so Paige saved Brie by pulling her out of the ring. Lyra hit a neckbreaker on Paige on the floor. Bayley covered Brie for two. They went on a break for some fans and I’ll stick to the action. The fans sang the “Hey Bayley” song based on the classic “Hey baby…be my girl” song. Lyra and Bayley made some quick tags as they worked over Brie. Lyra headbutted Brie in the ribs. Brie hit a sunset flip on Lyra for two. Lyra hit a clothesline to knock Brie down. Bayley kicked Brie a few times against the turnbuckle. Lyra suplexed Brie for two. Bayley grounded Brie with an armbar on the left arm. Brie hit a clothesline, Bayley stopped a tag attempt and Brie hit a legsweep.

The match continued with Brie kicking Bayley a few times and then Bayley got a rollup for two because Bayley knocked Paige off the apron. Brie broke free after a missile dropkick. England’s own Paige got the hot tag, leading to two German Suplexes and two Fisherman’s Suplexes in a row. Paige kicked Lyra and Bayley down. Lyra countered Paige into Nightwing for a two count because Brie made the save. Brie tried a rollup by the ropes and Bayley was sent out of the ring because of it. Brie hit a running knee on Bayley on the floor. Lyra kicked Brie on the floor. Paige and Lyra exchanged pin attempts. Lyra hit a Fisherman’s Buster, but Paige countered another move by hitting the Rampaige DDT for the pinfall win after about 10 minutes.

Winners by pinfall: Brie Bella & Paige

Analysis: ***1/4 A competitive match between two good teams. I thought the finish could have been more creative, but it was a decisive win to give Paige the big win in her home country. It was a traditional style of tag where Brie was the face in peril and they built to Paige’s hot tag, which led to the win. I thought perhaps Bayley and Lyra could have had a few more spots where it looked like they might win. It’s still a solid match.

After the match, Bayley was furious in the ring, while Lyra was down in the ring, looking upset about the loss. Paige’s music stopped playing as Bayley checked on her partner. Bayley picked up Lyra and hugged her, so Lyra sent Bayley throat-first into the middle turnbuckle. Lyra unloaded on Bayley with punches. Lyra sent Bayley throat-first into the ropes again. Lyra punched Bayley some more. There were WWE Officials, Kenny Dykstra and Shawn Daivari, in the ring along with referee Jessika Carr. Lyra hit Nightwing on Bayley and left to boos.

Analysis: That wasn’t the turn I expected! I thought Bayley turning heel was happening because she said it was “all or nothing” before the match. Nope. Lyra snapping at Bayley will lead to a rivalry between them, obviously. Lyra has been a babyface for her WWE run on the main roster and in NXT, so it will be interesting to see how she does as a heel.

Bayley was shown slowly recovering after the attack. This was during the break for some fans.

A clip aired of former UFC fighter Matt Serra on Stephanie McMahon’s podcast.

There was a replay of Lyra Valkyria turning on Bayley.

Lyra Valkyria was walking backstage. Jackie Redmond tried to talk to her, but Lyra said nothing and kept on walking.

Let’s Hear from Chad Gable

Chad Gable made his entrance to cheers and his 1980s-sounding theme song. Gable shouted out the energy as the fans chanted “Gable” for him. Gable said he was there for something close to his heart. Gable spoke about how he’s had a hell of a month after losing his mask down in Mexico. Gable said that the mask wasn’t the only thing he lost in the last couple of years. Chad said he lost his self-respect, reputation, dignity and he lost some friends. Gable said it’s never too late to right some wrongs. Gable called out Alpha Academy’s Otis, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa.

The Alpha Academy’s Otis, Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa walked out to the ring. The group is rarely featured on television, but here they are.

Gable spoke about Dupri’s potential and all she wanted to do was be the best that she could be. Gable praised Dupri for winning a singles championship, which Gable hasn’t done. Gable said the way he treated her was pathetic and embarrassing, so Gable said that was his fault. Gable said that he tried to hold Tozawa down and hold him back, while adding he didn’t deserve it, so that’s on Gable.

Gable addressed Otis as the most loyal friend any human being could ever have. Gable said Otis would have taken a bullet for him and jumped in front of a car for him. Gable said they’ve been friends for 20 years and he misses him. Gable said they trained at the Olympic training center together, they were tag team champions together, Otis moved close to him and Otis held Chad’s girls in his arms the day after they were born. Gable said he was selfish and it was his fault. Gable said they don’t owe him anything, but he owes them something. Gable: “I’m sorry.” Gable extended his hand for a shake, Otis thought about it and Dupri stepped in front of him.

Maxxine Dupri said that she used to believe everything he said. Dupri said that everything about Gable is a lie. Dupri said that she knows Otis and Tozawa want to give him a second chance, but Dupri doesn’t want to do it. Dupri recalled some of the bad things Gable did to them, like whipping Otis with a belt. Dupri said that Gable chased his own dreams because it’s always about him. Dupri said when she achieved his dream of being a champion, they didn’t need him back then, and they don’t need him now. Dupri said they’ll leave Chad the way he left them…alone. Dupri left with Tozawa. Otis paused, looked at Gable, and then left.

Analysis: It was a dramatic segment that showed it will take time for Gable’s past heelish actions to be forgiven. Gable has really done a nice job of showing remorse for his past actions. Maxxine Dupri made valid points about not wanting to forgive Gable because he did some bad things in the past.

Dragon Lee was backstage with Rey Mysterio, who mentioned Ethan Page ordered Rusev to take Rey’s mask off last week. Rey wanted Lee to teach Page some respect. Penta walked in with the Intercontinental Title and hyped up Lee as well. Lee left for his match.

Ethan Page made his entrance for singles action. This was during a break. I don’t like the way they edited Page’s theme song from what it was in NXT. They removed some of the lines in the song, and I don’t like that. Anyway, Page did a promo before his match, complaining about luchadores getting involved in his business. Page said that Dragon Lee will be the first bug he will squash as he continues on his quest to be the new Intercontinental Champion.

Ethan Page vs. Dragon Lee

The speedy Lee dropkicked Page out of the ring and Lee hit a somersault dive over the top onto Page on the floor. Lee sent Page back into the ring, Lee jumped off the top and Page connected with a clothesline. Page sent Lee into the turnbuckle. Lee hit an uppercut, kicked Page and jumped over the top with a kick. Lee hit a running dropkick on Page against the turnbuckle. Page turned Lee’s mask to counter a move and then Page kicked Lee out of the ring. They went on a break there and I’ll take a break too.

There were some forearms from Page, but Lee made his comeback with a German Suplex and a springboard DDT for two. Lee ran right at Page with a boot to the face for a two count. Lee hit a boot to the face by the turnbuckle, but Page was there to stop a climb attempt. Lee tripped up Page by the turnbuckle and Lee hit his double foot stomp off the top on Page for two. Lee went for a dive onto Page on the floor, but Page hit a forearm to stop that. Lee hit a knee smash and a hurricanrana that sent Page into the commentary table. Lee hit a suicide dive onto Page by the commentary table. That was an impressive dive by Lee. Lee hit a running elbow smash for two. Lee tried a lift, so Page countered it by lifting his head up to Lee’s groin. It was like a low blow, but it was not called. Page hit a Fisherman’s Suplex called an Ego Plex for the pinfall win. It went about 10 minutes.

Winner by pinfall: Ethan Page

Analysis: *** The match had some highlights with Lee hitting some big moves, including that dive, but this was all about Page getting some momentum again. Lee really isn’t being pushed that much. That Page finisher was just a Fisherman’s Suplex style of move, and it’s the first time I’ve seen Page use it. They had him stop using the Cutter that he was using. This finisher didn’t look that impressive.

It was announced that Season 3 of WWE Unreal on Netflix debuts on July 21st.

A video aired about The Vision and The Street Profits, leading to their title match later in the show.

The Vision was interviewed by Jackie Redmond. It was Austin Theory, Bron Breakker and Logan Paul with the brace on his left arm. Theory talked about how great they are. Paul said if it was up to him, he’ll take this brace and beat up The Street Profits. Paul said he’s healing faster than anybody. Bron Breakker said that Seth Rollins won’t be a problem, they’ll keep the titles and he’ll take care of Seth Rollins in the Steel Cage Match at Night of Champions. They left confidently.

Analysis: A generic promo segment featuring The Vision to talk about how great they are.

Iyo Sky was shown walking backstage for a promo up next.

Rusev was interviewed by Byron Saxton in the upper deck in the arena. This was during the break. Rusev said he loved Ethan Page beating Dragon Lee and nobody was there to ruin the match. Saxton mentioned Rusev losing to Chad Gable. Rusev complained about the fans supporting people like Rey Mysterio, who isn’t even a good father. Rusev trashed Gable for being a fake person and pretending to be Mexican, but somehow that is okay. Rusev said he’s always been real, but look at what’s happening. Rusev shouted in Bulgarian to end it.

Analysis: That was intense and over the top like a 1980s heel promo. I don’t mind that.

The Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Sol Ruca, was featured in a video talking about how she’s a thrillseeker inside the ring and outside the ring. Sol reminded us she’s the champion while holding he title.

They showed some boxers, a UFC fighter, and actor Jason Statham (with his family) at the show.

Iyo Sky Interview…with a Liv Morgan Interruption

The Queen of the Ring finalist Iyo Sky made her entrance for an in-ring interview with Jackie Redmond. Sky said she is extremely grateful to have gotten here. Sky said she can’t wait to face Liv Morgan for the crown. Sky said last week she beat Raquel Rodriguez and this Saturday, she’ll beat Liv Morgan to become the Queen.

Liv Morgan made her entrance as the Women’s World Champion. Liv said you must have forgotten who you are dealing with because she is the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time. Liv said that Sky is not beating her on Saturday because everybody knows that she is so much better than Sky. Liv said everybody knows she’s so much more talented than Sky because she’s the face of this division and all that’s missing is her crown.

Liv got into the ring to say she’s going to be Queen of the Ring and then beat Sky’s best friend, Rhea Ripley, and take her title again. Sky wondered if that crown will fit on Liv’s big head. Sky spoke in Japanese and the fans cheered. Liv punched Sky and Sky came back with a kick. Sky hit a springboard dropkick to knock Liv down, so Liv bumped to the floor.

Analysis: There’s some physicality, unlike when the King of the Ring finalists were in the ring together. That’s because this was face-heel, so it made sense. If Iyo Sky wins Queen of the Ring then she’ll likely face Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Title at SummerSlam, so it would be a rematch, but with the title on the line. I don’t mind that idea at all, so I think Sky should win Queen of the Ring.

Jimmy Uso was approached by his brother Jey Uso. Jimmy said he’s got LA Knight and he wants Jey to focus on King of the Ring. Jey wonders where Jacob Fatu has been. Fatu walked in (wearing an Umaga shirt – nice!), saying he doesn’t take orders from Jey. Fatu said that Solo Sikoa got the OTC’s message. Jey wondered what the play was. Fatu said if Solo crosses that line, he won’t like what he finds.

LA Knight made his entrance for his match. They went on a break as Knight posed for the fans.

Danhausen was shown in his laboratory when he was approached by Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, who claimed they had given Danhausen $100,000 last week. Danhausen said he spent it. JD threatened Danhausen, so Danhausen cursed him, and Dominik claimed JD was un-curse-able. JD touched some object that was lighting up in the room and then acted like he was electrocuted. Poor guy.

Analysis: I like Danhausen, but this experiment story isn’t as interesting as other stuff he has done. It’s perhaps too silly, even for WWE.

Jimmy Uso vs. LA Knight

There was a punch by Jimmy, and he tossed Knight out of the ring.  Jimmy claimed he was the only one on Knight’s team, but Knight ended up ramming Jimmy’s head into the hood of the commentary table a few times. Jimmy sold that better than most wrestlers do. Back in the ring, Knight hit a neckbreaker for two. Jimmy hit a boot to the face and a twisting cross body block for two. Jimmy hit a spinning kick to knock Knight out of the ring. Knight rammed Jimmy back-first into the ring apron. Jimmy sent Knight into the barricade as the show went on a break for some fans and I’ll take a break too.

The match continued with Knight and Jimmy exchanging strikes on the apron. Jimmy superkicked Knight. Jimmy suplexed Knight on the apron. Jimmy went for a running hip attack, Knight moved and Knight hit a DDT. Knight worked over Jimmy with punches and a clothesline. Knight hit a leaping clothesline, along with a legsweep and a back elbow. Jimmy got back into it with a Samoan Drop for two. Jimmy hit a step-up enziguri kick. Knight avoided a splash and hit a powerslam. Knight hit an elbow drop on Jimmy for two. Jimmy hit a superkick on a running Knight for a two count. Jimmy went up top, so Knight stopped that with a punch. Knight jumped up to the top rope and saw Solo Sikoa at ringside, so Knight was distracted by Jimmy’s brother. Jimmy knocked Knight down, the referee was looking at Knight and Solo punched Jimmy with a Samoan Spike. Knight got back up slowly and hit Blount Force Trauma (BFT) on Jimmy for the pinfall win after 13 minutes.

Winner by pinfall: LA Knight

Analysis: ***1/2 I liked the match. They worked hard, and it was competitive the whole way. The story is that Solo doesn’t want to be part of The Bloodline again, so he cost Jimmy this match to send a message. Knight always complains about The Bloodline, yet here he is benefiting from Solo costing Jimmy the match.

The Street Profits were interviewed by Jackie Redmond. Angelo Dawkins said they are ready. Montez Ford said they will show The Vision is impaired. They ended it by saying they want the smoke.

Danhausen made his entrance with a t-shirt gun and the fans popped for him. Danhausen spoke to Londonhausen about how his cruiser didn’t make it with him. Danhausen spoke about Dominik Mysterious and Some Guy (JD) interrupting him in his lab. Danhausen said he’s a sports hero and television legend. Danhausen, there’s a job opportunity in England, and I wondered how they feel about Prime Ministerhausen. He left. Anyway, this was during a break.

A video aired promoting NXT Great American on June 28th. It’s on The CW in the US and Netflix internationally.

Bayley was putting ice on her neck when Jackie Redmond approached for an interview. Bayley said she had nothing to say.

The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez were talking backstage. Raquel was frustrated about losing last week. Perez said at least Liv beat Charlotte Flair. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh walked in with JD being electrocuted. Liv complained about what Iyo Sky did out there. Liv said she wanted Raquel to go after the Women’s Intercontinental Title. Perez wondered what about her and before Liv could think of something, they left to go take JD to WWE Medical.

Analysis: It feels like this is setting up Roxanne Perez getting kicked out of the group and being a babyface since she’s often ignored by Liv.

Seth Rollins Interview

There was a sitdown interview with Seth Rollins talking to Corey Graves. Rollins said he doesn’t know if he’d be sitting here without The Street Profits. Rollins said now he’s one win away, at Night of Champions, of putting The Vision behind him. Graves mentioned Rollins facing Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage Match at Night of Champions. Rollins said he knows the risks and said a lot can go wrong. Rollins said sometimes when there’s a problem, you have to find your way out of that problem. Rollins said that the Steel Cage Match will tell the world who Seth is. Rollins said if he can beat Breakker and put The Vision behind him, then he can focus on getting back the World Title that he never lost.

Analysis: It’s a tough call to predict that Seth Rollins-Bron Breakker. I’ll save it for my preview later in the week.

The Street Profits were shown walking backstage for the main event up next.

Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio were interviewed by Byron Saxton. This was during the break. Lee said he felt disappointed about losing to Ethan Page. Lee claimed he was way better than Page, and said nobody can turn off his fire. Rey said that Ethan Page and Rusev suck. Rey said that Ethan is good at cheating to win. Rey said he’ll step up to teach Page to respect lucha libre. Saxton thanked them.

Chad Gable was talking to Raw GM Adam Pearce backstage. Gable said he was talking to Penta, and then Dominik Mysterio showed up with The Judgment Day. Dominik said that Gable doesn’t deserve anything. Dom said he’s the King of Luchadores, so Gable disrespected him worst of all. Gable said Dom sent him to Mexico in the first place. Dominik suggested JD in a match with Gable. JD was showing signs of being electrocuted, and they left with Pearce telling JD to see WWE Medical.

There was a rundown of the Night of Champions lineup.

* Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn

* King of the Ring Finals: Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso – This will air in the first hour on ESPN.

* Queen of the Ring Finals: Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan – – This will air in the first hour on ESPN.

* Women’s United States Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill

* United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ricky Saints

* Steel Cage Match: Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker

The Street Profits made their entrance with the fans cheering them as usual. They are 3-time WWE Tag Team Champions (4 times total, 1 in NXT), looking for number four.

Next Monday’s Raw in Atlantic City has a 6 p.m. ET start time.

Analysis: The reason for that is that they are taping SmackDown right after due to the July 4th holiday and WWE wanting to give people time off.

The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker made their entrance as the World Tag Team Champions with Logan Paul. Ring announcer Alicia Taylor did the championship introductions.

WWE World Tag Team Championships: The Vision – Bron Breakker & Austin Theory (w/Logan Paul) vs. The Street Profits – Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins

The champions Theory and Bron attacked to start the match. Ford hit a jumping knee on Theory, and Dawkins tagged in with a dropkick. Dawkins lifted up Ford into a moonsault splash for a two count. Bron tagged in, ran the ropes, and hit a running clothesline on Ford. Bron hit an overhead suplex on Dawkins. They went on a break there with The Vision in full control.

It was The Vision still in control as Theory held Ford’s left arm to prevent a tag. Theory stomped on Ford and grabbed a chinlock. Ford hit a belly-to-back suplex to break free. Ford broke free and brought in Dawkins with the hot tag. Dawkins jumped over Bron and hit a spinning elbow. Dawkins slammed Theory into the mat, followed by a spinning kick and splash on Bron. Dawkins hit The Silencer on Theory. Ford tagged in and jumped off the top with a Blockbuster neckbreaker for two because Paul put Theory’s foot on the bottom rope. Referee Chad Patton ejected Paul from ringside. Dawkins was back in, he put Theory on his shoulders and Bron knocked Ford off the apron. Theory hit Dawkins from behind to knock him out of the ring. Brone jumped off the apron with a flying clothesline on Dawkins onto the table. They went on another break with The Vision in control.

This time it was Dawkins as the face in peril with The Vision in full control. Bron and Theory hit a double elbow to knock Dawkins down, which led to Theory applied a chinlock again. The fans chanted for CM Punk to entertain themselves. Bron was back in for a double team wishbone leg split on Dawkins. Bron trash-talked Dawkins, who fought back with punches and a double clothesline collision spot. Ford got the tag against Theory and jumped off with an elbow. Ford hit a running clothesline. Ford hit two corner clotheslines, a superkick, and a belly-to-back suplex. Ford hit a standing moonsault for two. Bron was back in for a German Suplex/lariat combo move for Bron on Ford for a two count. Ford got a boot up to stop a charging attack. Bron came back with a powerslam. Theory put Ford on his shoulders and Bron jumped off the top with a Steiner bulldog on Ford for two because Dawkins broke up the pin. Bron went after Dawkins on the floor and sent him into the steel steps. Bron tossed the steel steps into the ring. Dawkins countered Bron by shoving him into the ring post. Logan Paul was back at ringside with the brass knuckles, so Joe Hendry’s music hit and Joe was on the apron. Joe chased Hendry from the ringside area. Seth Rollins’ music hit and he appeared at ringside while Breakker left the ring on the other side. Rollins had the brass knuckles and punched Theory with the brass knuckles. Bron jumped the railing and went after Rollins. Dawkins hit the Anointment (spinebuster) and Ford hit the From the Heavens (Frog Splash) on Theory for the pinfall win. It went about 20 minutes. New World Tag Team Champions!

Winners by pinfall AND NEW WWE World Tag Team Champions: The Street Profits – Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins

Analysis: ***1/2 It was a long match with some shenanigans at the end to cause the title change. I think the title change is a smart move because I don’t think The Vision guys are a long-term tag team. If it were Logan Paul healthy instead of Bron Breakker, then I could see the champs retaining, but with Paul on the shelf and Bron getting pushed in singles, it was the right time and the right move to do a title change. Rollins getting involved is what I figured would happen, but he didn’t even touch Braun. Instead, Rollins used his intelligence to throw Bron off, which allowed him to use the brass knuckles on Theory, leading to the Profits’ win. It was all timed very well.

There were replays of the key spots in the match.

The Street Profits celebrated as the new World Tag Champions while Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker stared at eachother from a distance. That was the end of the show.

Analysis: Congratulations to The Street Profits for being WWE Tag Team Champions for the fourth time on the main roster.

This week’s Raw had a runtime of 2:27 on Netflix. Last week was 2:37.

Final Thoughts on WWE Raw

It was an enjoyable show overall. It felt like a typical Raw episode these days with some strong matches carrying the show and I liked the Oba Femi-Jey Uso promo exchange. The Iyo Sky-Liv Morgan promo segment was less interesting, but at least it was kept short.

The main event title change was the logical thing to do since The Street Profits are an actual team, rather than singles wrestlers in the Vision, who don’t really feel like a team. Speaking of a team, I was surprised by Lyra Valkyria turning heel on Bayley to end their team. I thought it would be the other way around. I hope Lyra does well as a heel.

The WWE Night of Champions PLE takes place on Saturday, June 27th, with this lineup.

* Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther vs. Sami Zayn

* King of the Ring Finals: Oba Femi vs. Jey Uso

* Queen of the Ring Finals: Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan

* Steel Cage Match: Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker

* United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Ricky Saints

* Women’s United States Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill

You can watch WWE Night of Champions, streaming live Saturday, June 27, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
