Report: WWE Slammy Awards Not Happening This Year

There are currently no plans within World Wrestling Entertainment for the company to go through with their annual Slammy Awards this year. This is according to PWInsider.

WreztleZone reported a few months ago that there were discussions within WWE about moving the Slammy Awards to be around WrestleMania week. This has yet to be announced, but it could be a good route for the award ceremony to take since WrestleMania is kind of considered to be the “season finale” of the WWE year.
