Nicole Bass Passes Away At 52 Years Of Age

TJR Wrestling

Nicole Bass, who worked for both WWE and ECW, passed away on Thursday at the age of 52. Bass suffered a major stroke earlier in the week, was hospitalized and never recovered.

Bass was a bodybuilder in the 1990s that started in wrestling for ECW in 1998. She went to WWE in 1999 as a bodyguard for Sable, who had turned heel heading into WrestleMania 15, which is when Bass debuted. When Sable left the company shortly after WrestleMania, Bass was put in a storyline with Val Venis. She was released by WWE in July 1999, so it was only a four month stint there.

Bass was also known for frequent appearances on the popular Howard Stern Show as well.

Tommy Dreamer, who got her into wrestling, wrote about her on Facebook.

Here’s a Facebook post from her girlfriend Kristen sharing the news.

On behalf of everybody here at TJRWrestling, we send our condolences to her family, friends and fans.
