WWE Urged To Make Major Decision That Would Upset The Usos
The Usos have again found themselves in the crosshairs of CM Punk, courtesy of Roman Reigns.
Reigns is scheduled to challenge Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. While both superstars exchanged words in heated promos over the last few weeks, things got physical on March 23.
After getting punched in the head by Punk, Jey Uso egged Reigns on to take out Punk, and the Original Tribal Chief obliged.
Reigns first speared The Second City Saint out of his boots and then put him through the commentator’s desk outside the ring as the referees and staff tried to calm things down.
Jey and Jimmy Uso, on the other hand, are scheduled to put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line next week against The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory in a Street Fight.
Amid their high-spirited in-ring appearances, a former employee has urged the company to restrict Jey & Jimmy’s presence to television tapings only.
The Usos Should Not Be On Shows Outside WWE, Says Former Employee
Jey and Jimmy Uso’s skills in front of the camera were questioned by a former WWE employee recently.
While speaking on The Coach & Bro podcast, Jonathan Coachman cited The Usos’ appearance on an ESPN show ahead of Elimination Chamber as an example.
There are certain talents, and I’m going to be very polite about this, that should not be on live TV outside of the show ever. Ever, because they don’t make the WWE look good. And I think The Usos, as much as I love them and respect them, I don’t think they’re great live outside of the show. [13:25 onwards]
