The results are in for the 2022 edition of the WWE Tribute to the Troops special with a big six-man tag match in the main event.

Tribute To The Troops first aired on Christmas Day 2003 when WWE Superstars visited Baghdad in Iraq to entertain the troops at the height of the war in the Middle East. That’s why WWE called this episode the 20th anniversary of the event.

The 2022 edition of Tribute to the Troops aired on Fox on Saturday, December 17th. This was taped on November 11th after Smackdown in Indianapolis.

There were three episodes on the show along with some video features about troops.

Braun Strowman defeated LA Knight

It was an easy win for the powerful Strowman, who won with a Monster Bomb (Powerbomb).

Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler defeated Tamina & Emma

The Smackdown Women’s Champion Rousey and Baszler picked up the win after Baszler applied the Kirifuda Clutch submission and Tamina tapped out.

Drew McIntyre, Sheamus & Ricochet defeated Imperium – GUNTHER, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwing Kaiser

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus teamed up once again, this time with Ricochet on their side against the Imperium trio including the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER. The match ended when the babyface trio worked together leading to Sheamus hitting a Brogue Kick, Drew McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick and Ricochet jumped off the top rope with a Shooting Star Press on Kaiser for the pinfall win.
