WWE Star Broke Down In Tears After Becky Lynch Match

One WWE star has admitted they were left in tears after facing Becky Lynch in a huge match.

Becky Lynch made her return to WWE at WrestleMania 41 as she took Bayley’s place in a huge tag team match that saw her team with fellow Irish star Lyra Valkyria and capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

That title reign lasted for a day before Lynch turned on Valkyria, leading to a feud between the two women that stretched over the summer and saw the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship change hands. Lynch won the gold from Valkyria at Money In The Bank and retained it when they clashed again at SummerSlam in a no disqualification match.

That SummerSlam match, however, proved to have a lot of issues with those watching backstage growing increasingly bewildered by what was going on. This was covered on the final episode of season two of WWE Unreal, with Valkyria left in tears by the performance. Valkyria explained how she felt about things unravelling:

Honestly, everything up to now has been amazing. This is everything, so when you don’t feel the magic or whatever, this is the first time I’ve felt this way. If you want to be real, this is as real as I can be right now. Sometimes, just anything that can go wrong does go wrong, especially when you’re using weapons and stuff.

You got one take in all this, it’s not a movie. We don’t go out and rehearse stuff like actors and stuntmen and all this. It just doesn’t go the way you see it in your head. It’s just what happens sometimes.
