Huge WWE Pitch Made For Finn Balor Following His Judgment Day Exit
A pair of Good Brothers believe Finn Balor should be a WWE World Champion.
After spending nearly three years as a heel in The Judgment Day stable, Finn Balor was kicked out of the group when he was attacked by Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, and Liv Morgan.
When Dominik Mysterio got a shot at Penta’s Intercontinental Title on the March 23rd episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor showed up, and Dominik was distracted enough to allow Penta to find a way to win and retain the title.
While it’s not official yet, it appears that Finn Balor is on a collision course with Dominik Mysterio for a WrestleMania 42 match with Balor in a babyface role, much to the delight of the fans.
The Good Brothers duo of Karl Anderson and Luke “Doc” Gallows know Balor very well from their days together in The Bullet Club group in NJPW. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Anderson said Balor should win the WWE Title or the World Heavyweight Title.
“With Finn Balor, it’s the perfect time (for him to leave the Judgment Day). I wish he could’ve left the Judgment Day earlier, and I wish we could have had a really fun run together at some point, obviously.
“Finn’s a top, top, tippy top guy, and this is his moment. I hope he gets a chance to be the World Heavyweight Champion, and he gets to be heel Finn Balor at the top, a heel champion Finn Balor at the top.
“Also, of course, a babyface Finn Balor champion, but either way, I think Finn is a world heavyweight champion, no doubt.”
Finn Balor As World Champion Is “Money In The Bank”
During his WWE career so far, Balor was a WWE Universal Champion when it was considered a World Title about a decade ago, but his title reign lasted only one day due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. While Balor has been an Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion, he has yet to win a World Title again.
Gallows spoke more about Balor potentially being a WWE World Champion, and even suggested it in heel mode.
“Finn Balor has had star written all over him from the very beginning. You can look at the guy, you can see the presence, you can see the fan reaction. I think both of us, seeing him at the top of his game in Japan and then what he’s turned into, I have to agree 100%.
“A world championship run as heel Finn Balor, it’s money in the bank. It has got to go that way, and I hope we get to see him do it, he stays healthy and he can be the superstar that he has always been at the very tip-top.” (H/T Wrestletalk)
