WWE News: Two Matches Announced for Monday’s Raw Including Riddle vs. Woods

There are two matches announced for WWE Monday Night Raw tomorrow:

* Riddle vs. Xavier Woods

* Women’s Tag Team Championships: Natalya & Tamina (c) vs. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax

The Riddle match with Woods was set up because Randy Orton lost to Kofi Kingston on Raw last week. Orton lost because he was distracted by Xavier Woods playing the trombone, so then Kofi got the ROLLUP OF DEATH~! on Orton to win the match. After the match, Orton left angrily while Riddle shoved Woods onto his ass, so that set up Riddle vs. Woods this week.

TJR Thoughts: I think Riddle should beat Woods, but I’m not sure what’s going to happen. I am intrigued by Riddle and Orton as team, though.

As for the Women’s Tag Team Title match, it’s simply a rematch with Natalya & Tamina facing the former champions Baszler & Jax. This past Friday on Smackdown, Baszler made Natalya tap out in a six-woman tag team match to give her team some momentum going into the title match.

TJR Thoughts: I expect Natalya & Tamina to retain the titles. I hope it’s the end of these teams wrestling each other. We’ve seen the match enough.

Another thing teased on Raw is how Bobby Lashley will respond to getting pinned by Kofi Kingston last week on Raw in a non-title match. Lashley lost because Drew McIntyre hit him with MVP’s cane when the referee wasn’t looking.

TJR Thoughts: It should lead to Lashley vs. Kingston for the WWE Title likely as a Raw match either this week or next week because I expect Lashley vs. McIntyre to be at the Hell in a Cell PPV on June 20.
