WWE’s Last-Minute WrestleMania 42 Plans For Former AEW Star Will Break The Internet

This former AEW star has made a huge impact after joining WWE, and now, PWInsider has revealed his role at WrestleMania 42.

Danhausen, who formerly worked with AEW, is WWE’s newest star, emerging from the human-sized mystery crate that was scheduled to be opened at Elimination Chamber.

Fans were disappointed to see him emerge instead of someone like WWE legend Chris Jericho, whom they had hoped would be in the crate.

However, that initial reaction later took a 180-degree turn as Danhausen won over the majority of the WWE Universe with his entertaining theatrics and humorous segments.

The goth-like character’s gimmick is cursing people so that bad luck befalls them. Danhausen only ends up cursing the person if they refuse to align with him or do as he says.

In a never-before-seen finish for a WWE match a few weeks ago, Danhausen mistakenly cursed the referee, who later couldn’t count to three as his right arm froze after the two count. The Miz was the one pinning R-Truth for the win, but since Miz was cursed by Danhausen before, bad luck befell the A-lister, and he would soon be pinned by Damian Priest, for which the referee would use his left arm.

Danhausen eventually had his first match in the ring against Kit Wilson last Friday on SmackDown, which ended with him winning by cursing Wilson, after which the pyro behind Wilson on the ringpost he was standing on went off and put him to the ground.

Now, after most of the WWE Universe has bought into the character, news has emerged of the star’s involvement at WrestleMania 42.

Danhausen’s hilarious segments are slated to continue at the Showcase of the Immortals this year.

Many fans were speculating what Danhausen would be doing at WrestleMania 42, and PW Insider has now reported that there’s been talk of doing a segment with Danhausen in the ring with mini wrestlers.

Fans speculate in the comments as to whether former WWE CEO Vince McMahon is in some way involved with the idea of including mini wrestlers as forms of amusement, something McMahon was known to do a lot during his regime in WWE.

WrestleMania 42 takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 18th and 19th of April.
