WWE Tease 2 Huge WrestleMania Matches At Elimination Chamber

The winners at WWE Elimination Chamber earned title matches, but there were also other WrestleMania matches teased at the show.

At the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE in Perth, Australia, the Women’s Chamber match was won by Becky Lynch while Drew McIntyre emerged as the Men’s Chamber Match winner.

While those results that saw Lynch and McIntyre leave the Chamber as big winners may have been obvious, there were certainly some surprises in the men’s match.

There was a point in the match where McIntyre eliminated Lashley with a Claymore Kick. Lashley was selling a right arm injury throughout the match due to Karrion Kross attacking him with a steel chair on Smackdown. Multiple referees went into the ring to help Lashley, which opened the door and led to AJ Styles making a surprise appearance.

After LA Knight hit the BFT on Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre, Styles got into the ring and hit Knight with repeated chair shots to the body. Styles had been angry for weeks due to Knight’s success in WWE, so it was AJ’s way of getting revenge. Styles gave Knight a Styles Clash onto a steel chair in the ring. Right after that, McIntyre used his left arm to cover Knight and pin him.

Logan Paul Costs Randy Orton WWE Elimination Chamber Win

The final three men in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match were Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton & Logan Paul. It looked like Paul might take control of the match as he brought out his patented brass knuckles, which were legal in a match like that. However, as Paul posed in the ring, Orton jumped out of nowhere and hit an RKO on Paul leading to the pinfall to eliminate the US Champion Paul.

That left Orton and McIntyre for a showdown between former WWE Champions. Orton was dealing with a sore back injury, but he managed to hit an RKO on McIntyre. Before Orton could make the cover, Logan Paul punched Orton with the brass knuckles in the face! McIntyre covered with his right arm across the chest of Orton for the pinfall win, which meant that McIntyre won the Elimination Chamber match.

Drew McIntyre’s victory means he will get to challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40.

It also appears based on what happened in the Chamber match that AJ Styles will face LA Knight and Randy Orton will challenge Logan Paul for the US Title. Neither match is confirmed yet, but they should be made official in the weeks ahead with WrestleMania 40 set to take place in four weeks time.
