WWE’s Gunther Makes His Picks For Pro Wrestling Mount Rushmore
Gunther has made his choices known for his Pro Wrestling Mount Rushmore as WWE fans wonder if he picked Goldberg.
When WWE was in Calgary for Monday Night Raw on September 9th, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart was on the show to receive a hero’s welcome from his hometown crowd.
It is also well-known within the pro wrestling business that many current stars grew up as huge fans of Bret Hart in the 1980s and 1990s since he was one of the best wrestlers ever, especially when it comes to in-ring performance.
While Bret was in the ring, he was confronted by the heel World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, who did show some respect for the Hitman. However, Gunther also showed Hart a lot of disrespect by saying that Bret was a close second to his all time favorite wrestler Bill Goldberg.
That Goldberg line drew an “ooohhh” reaction from the fans because it was funny due to wrestling fans knowing that Hart doesn’t like Goldberg due to a stiff kick by Goldberg that concussed Hart and ultimately ended his career much earlier than Hart would have liked.
During a discussion with The Sun, Gunther was asked to name his Pro Wrestling Mount Rushmore, which is a question asked to many people about the four greatest wrestlers ever. Every person has a different wrestler because it’s a personal choice. According to The Sun, Gunther’s four picks were as follows.
* Shawn Michaels
* Triple H
* Eddie Guerrero
* Kurt Angle
They are all Hall of Famers who are considered by many fans to be among the greatest wrestlers of all time. The article did not provide more comments from Gunther on why he chose those wrestlers.
Will Gunther Be Part Of WWE Bad Blood?
For the past month, Sami Zayn has confronted Gunther numerous times about challenging him for the World Heavyweight Title. However, every time Zayn has asked for it, the champion teased accepting the challenge before saying no.
While it’s not official yet, the Gunther-Sami Zayn match for the World Heavyweight Title is listed internally by WWE for the Bad Blood PLE taking place this Saturday, October 5th in Atlanta.
The final episode of Monday Night Raw before Bad Blood takes place on September 30th in Evansville, Indiana so that could be when WWE makes the World Title match official for Bad Blood.
