Major WWE Faction Suffers First Main Roster Defeat By Rhea Ripley-Led Super Team

This WWE faction lost to Rhea Ripley and co. in a 6-woman tag match recently.

Rhea Ripley is the WWE Women’s Undisputed Champion. She has recently been teaming up with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and this team took on Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab at last weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME), which Ripley’s team lost.

Before SNME, on SmackDown, the newly promoted faction from NXT Fatal Influence, which comprises Falon Henley, Lainey Reid, and Jacy Jayne, confronted Ripley, Flair, and Bliss and put them on notice.

WWE has embarked on a European tour, and on May 28th, they had a show at Liverpool, England, in which the super-team of Rhea Ripley, Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton, and Charlotte Flair defeated Reid, Henley, and Jayne in a 6-woman tag team match.

This was a much-needed victory for the WWE Women’s Champion after she was pinned by Cargill in the previous 6-woman tag at SNME last weekend.

Women’s WWE Champion Rhea Ripley Will Face Jade Cargill At Clash In Italy

Ripley now has a major task ahead of her when she faces the Storm, Jade Cargill, in a rematch for the WWE Title, which Ripley clinched from Cargill at WrestleMania 42.

A pre-recorded episode of Stephanie McMahon’s podcast, What’s Your Story, with Ripley as the guest, has recently been released.

In the episode, Ripley spoke about how her backstage beef with Jade Cargill was done with, and the two were working together on their WrestleMania program. They eventually put on a stellar match at the Show of Shows.

I’m excited for this WrestleMania. I really am. I’m going against someone that I never wrestled before. I’ve never even touched pretty much. We haven’t done anything up until this point. She beat my a*s a little bit but, we haven’t really done anything. Started a little bit rocky but we’re on a path now and we’re telling a story and I’m intrigued to see how it goes and just pull off an awesome WrestleMania match. I want this to be a cool moment.
