WWE Celebrating A Decade Of Two-Thirds Of The Shield

The Shield - Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley

Two of the three members of The Shield will be getting a big celebration this month.

On November 18th, 2012, The Shield made their big main roster debut. Since then, the two remaining members – Rollins and Reigns – have gone on to become two of the biggest stars in WWE history. Both have won title gold many times over, have shattered records, and have main-evented many big shows.

With Rollins and Reigns being such big stars in WWE, the company has decided to celebrate their tenure in their own way. There will be special Shield/Reigns/Rollins-themed content on the WWE Network, including some never-before-seen special stuff as well, per wwe.com:

“To commemorate a decade of Reigns and Rollins, WWE is kicking off a month-long celebration across social media platforms starting today. Keep your eyes peeled throughout November for classic video highlights, rare and never-before-seen photos and much more, including special Reigns- and Rollins-themed episodes of YouTube series WWE Top 10 and WWE Playlist.”

Roman Reigns’ next big match is scheduled for Saturday, November 5th, at Crown Jewel, in which he defends his Undisputed Title belts against Logan Paul.

Missing from the celebration is the third man from The Shield, Dean Ambrose – now better known as AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley. Moxley left WWE in 2019 before becoming All Elite a short time later.
