Nick Khan Teases “Bunch Of Surprises” At WrestleMania 39
There will be some surprises at WrestleMania 39 according to a comment made by WWE CEO Nick Khan to promote the big event in Los Angeles.
The 39th edition of WWE’s WrestleMania event takes place this Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. In preparation for the event, a lot of people associated with WWE are doing interviews to promote the event, including WWE CEO Nick Khan.
While Nick Khan isn’t part of the WWE creative team, he obviously knows a few things about what the company has planned.
In an interview with ESPN’s First Take, Khan teased that there were going to be surprises.
“Expect a bunch of surprises. That’s what we’re known for, this is WrestleMania, we pulled some out at Royal Rumble. Here at SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles, two-night event, we have to make it big.”
There are plenty of big names that are not currently advertised for WrestleMania 39 appearances that could show up such as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and many other legends that will be in the Los Angeles area during WM weekend. There could also be new signings debuting or perhaps NXT wrestlers getting involved.
One of the surprises Khan could be referencing is former WWE superstar Gangrel, who has been rumored to be part of Edge’s Brood-like entrance at WrestleMania 39.
