AEW boss Tony Khan caused a sensation on Dynamite when he announced that AEW All In was set to take place in London, England in August 2023.

If that got fans excited, many fans had to pick their jaws up from the floor when Khan then had Adam Cole reveal that the event would be taking place in the 90,000+ capacity Wembley Stadium. The former Wembley Stadium was the host to SummerSlam 1992 when 80,000 fans flocked to see The British Bulldog defeat Bret Hart for the Intercontinental Championship.

With the challenge of selling as many tickets as possible for the huge venue, there have been suggestions that there could be many dream matches on the card as well as possibly the last match of a legendary wrestling career.

While nothing is known about who will appear on the show so far, New Japan Pro Wrestling star and England’s finest Will Ospreay is making no secret that he’d love to appear on the show.

Speaking with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ospreay noted that he hopes he gets the opportunity to be at the event as he flies the flag for England wherever he goes:

“I’m a guy that pops in. All the love in the world to all those & its amazing crew. I hope there is an opportunity as 1 of the guys that flies the flag for [England] everywhere I go. To do that would finally make my dad proud.”

Ospreay has wrestled on a handful of occasions for AEW previously, the last of those appearances coming in August 2022 when he teamed with Aussie Open in the Trios Title tournament, losing to The Elite.
