Bayley made a powerful statement about how younger stars can be prepared for WWE TV.

Bayley joined WWE in 2012 and made her NXT debut in 2013. She was called upto the main roster in 2016, and has been working with the global juggernaut since.

Currently, Bayley is one of the top names on the roster, but that happened through sheer hard work and being on every possible event.

Bayley explained why WWE needed live events

WWE cut down live shows from over 100 to 40 in 2025.

Recently, the WWE Superstar spoke with the Toronto Sun. During that time, she was asked if the reduced live events had been good for her. She explained that after being on the road for several years, getting a break has been great. However, she believes that younger stars need to be on live shows to prepare for WWE TV.

For someone like me, yes, because I’ve been here and my first eight years on the main roster I was on every single live event, thankfully. It was tough and around year five or six, Charlotte and I would be like, ‘They need to put someone else on here so they can help and learn how to do it.’ I understood they needed the star power and experienced women and sell tickets, so we were on everything. It was really brutal. Now, when I look back at it, I miss them. I feel it helps with longevity and keep up and stay relevant is because we had that experience. It’s very different than TV. TV is stressful. You have to hit these times and camera angles.

Sometimes, you don’t always have a match on TV. It could be a promo or backstage, but if you get your reps in on the live events, it makes a world of difference. People like Roxanne Perez, Lyra Valkyria, and Maxxine Dupri. When Zoey Stark was coming, we’d talk about that. They just need those reps on live events that really transfer and make you feel more confident on TV. I wish we could find a happy and healthy balance to get some back. Maybe a little more this year. For someone like me, it does help my body, but I feel for the ones that really want to be on those shows
