Updated WWE Hell in a Cell PPV Lineup – Six Matches Official

The WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view takes place this Sunday, June 20. During this week’s Smackdown, there were two new matches officially announced and one of the matches was altered a bit.

Seth Rollins will face Cesaro once again in a rematch from WrestleMania 37 when Cesaro beat Rollins clean.

That’s not the only WrestleMania rematch because Sami Zayn will have to face the man that beat him at WrestleMania 37, Kevin Owens. Those two have wrestled many times over the years and always have good matches.

The one match that was altered was Smackdown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair defending her title against Bayley, who Belair beat at WrestleMania Backlash last month. During Smackdown, Belair challenged Bayley to a Hell in a Cell match because Belair wants to shut Bayley up and the match was made official later in the night. That means there is one Hell in a Cell match from Raw and one HIAC match from Smackdown.

As for Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio, that match was advertised for Hell in Cell, but WWE decided to do it on last night’s Smackdown episode instead. That means it’s a rare PPV event where Universal Champion Roman Reigns won’t be in a match.

Considering there were only four matches announced for Hell in a Cell prior to Smackdown, it’s a good thing that WWE has at least advertised six matches.

Here’s the full lineup.

Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

Hell in a Cell for the Smackdown Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley

Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro

Raw Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler
