Updated WWE Money in the Bank PPV Lineup – Big E and Carmella Added to Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Matches

The next WWE pay-per-view is a big one. You could say it’s one of the biggest Money in the Bank pay-per-views ever just because the fans are back. Money in the Banks takes place on Sunday, July 18 from Dickies Arena (I didn’t name it) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Last night on Smackdown, Big E defeated Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews to earn one of the eight spots in the Men’s Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Matches. That was the only qualifying match for male wrestlers on Smackdown.

On the women’s side, WWE Official Sonya Deville named Carmella as one of the eight participants in the Women’s Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match. Liv Morgan didn’t like that, said she should be in it and Morgan beat Carmella in a match. Morgan has not been officially named for the MITB Ladder Match yet, but she might be added to it soon.

This Monday on Raw, there will be a triple threat match between Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and AJ Styles to determine who will be in the Men’s Money in the Bank Contract Ladder Match. All three former WWE Champions lost last week, but they get a second chance this week.

**UPDATE**

After I did this post, a new match became official. Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Edge at Money in the Bank as well. I’ll cover that more when I review Talking Smack later in the day.
