UFC Hall Of Famer On If He’d Want To Wrestle In WWE

Former UFC Welterweight and Middleweight Champion has opened up on possible WWE career.

Georges St-Pierre won 26 of his 28 MMA bouts, claiming Championships in two weight divisions and is a big fan of WWE.

The fighting legend was speaking with Ariel Helwani and sharing his desire to see Sami Zayn defeat Roman Reigns and was asked if he would be open to competing inside a WWE ring.

“I would never close the door to make an appearance or something like this, but to go on the road for a long time, I have other priorities, and I’m happy where I’m at.”

”I would never say no to an appearance or something special. It would be fun.”

Should St-Pierre compete, he would follow the footsteps of other former UFC competitors such as Ronda Rousey, Ken Shamrock and Den Severn.

With the success of Brock Lesnar, who became a star in WWE before stepping into the Octagon, and Rousey since she joined WWE in 2018, a pathway between the two companies has been opened as WWE continue to look at talent from other sports.

Logan Paul looks set to face one of WWE’s biggest names at this years WrestleMania, the YouTube sensation has showcased his athletic ability since joining the company, including when facing off against Roman Reigns.

Mercedes Mone is looking to challenge current UFC star Amanda Nunes. Mone became IWGP Women’s Champion at this weekend’s NJPW pay per view, Battle In The Valley and after the show addressed her desire to battle UFC’s Featherweight Champion.
