A former WWE employee has revealed Triple H’s controversial assessment of Hulk Hogan.

David Sahadi previously worked for the Stamford-based promotion between 1992 and 2003, during which he worked with a team to produce vignettes and video packages.

The award-winning producer ultimately grew unhappy in his role, even stepping up as one of the objectors to the Katie Vick storyline.

He ultimately negotiated his release with WWE and quit in 2003.

While recently speaking with Wrestling Epicenter, Sahadi recalled a backstage conversation with the now WWE boss, ahead of the latter’s 2002 Backlash match against Hulk Hogan.

Earlier in the year, Hunter had won the Royal Rumble, setting up an Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 18 against Chris Jericho, which he won to become the champion.

Triple H Likened Hulk Hogan To A Carton Of Milk

David Sahadi claimed that Hunter likened Hulk Hogan to a KISS reunion tour and a carton of milk, stating that he was going over at Backlash. However, due to last-minute changes, he ended up dropping the title to Hogan.

I was at the gym and Triple H was working out. He was sitting next to me. I knew I was going to have to do the promos after the pay-per-view and leading into RAW. So I asked him, ‘Who is going over?’

Triple H said, ‘I’m going over. Hulk Hogan is great. But he is like a KISS Reunion tour. Or a carton of milk. It gets old fast.’

“Everything was going along the way Triple H said it would until Hulk Hogan wins the belt. I was like, ‘What the Hell!’ I have to believe that is something they changed on the day. I don’t believe Triple H was lying to me. I believe he thought, when he said that, he was going over. But he didn’t.”
