Triple H Will Wrestle Again, Says Ex-WWE Champion
Ex-WWE Champion believes Triple H will return to the ring eventually.
HHH currently serves as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, overseeing all creative direction and talent development.
He wrestled his last televised match on June 7, 2019, against Randy Orton at the WWE Super Showdown 2019 premium live event in Saudi Arabia. His official retirement took place at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022. He was added to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Triple H suffered a life-threatening cardiac event in September 2021, which required him to get a defibrillator in his chest. Following the scary incident, doctors advised him to strictly avoid physical bumps or any damage inside the ring, as the physical stress of wrestling could trigger his health condition.
Stevie Richards Is “Convinced” Triple H Is Returing To The Ring
Since then, Triple H has shifted to a creative and managerial role in WWE and hasn’t wrestled. However, ex-WWE Hardcore Champion Stevie Richards believes that Hunter will return to the ring one day. Richards said on his Stevie Richards Show:
I’m still convinced this dude’s going to get back in the ring. (From 24:04)
When WWE released the WrestleMania 42 teaser trailer last year, it featured Triple H in the video. This led Stevie Richards to say that HHH being in the trailer was a sign that he is gearing up for an in-ring return.
Richards added that there is a strong possibility Hunter will make his grand in-ring return at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. If not, then definitely at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.
But this dude’s coming back. I have no doubt. I have no doubt. If not for this one, definitely WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. (From 2:55)
