Rumours are running wild for the Day 1 edition of WWE Raw and now Triple H has given credence to them just by mentioning them.
WWE will be hoping to bounce back from record-low ratings for the Christmas Day edition of Raw which was a Best of 2023 compilation show. To do that, Triple H is stacking the Day 1 edition of Raw to air on January 1st with two huge title matches already confirmed for the show.
Seth Rollins will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Drew McIntyre while Rhea Ripley defends the Women’s World Championship against Ivy Nile.
Fightful Select had reported that the company was “on the one yard line” of getting a former WWE Champion to appear on the show, but it is not known who or if the reference meant a former holder of the WWE Title or a former champion of some other kind in WWE.
Triple H Urges WWE Fans To Watch Show
Now Triple H has taken to social media to make a rare comment on the rumours swirling regarding Raw without confirming or denying them:
Not going to confirm or deny the rumors of a former @WWE Champion appearing at #WWERaw Day One… but I will say to stay tuned. New Year’s Day, 8pm ET on @USANetwork

The mere fact Triple H has drawn attention to the rumours will have many believing that they could be true but the only way to find out for sure is to tune into WWE Raw which airs live from San Diego, California.
