Triple H Blasted For Controversial Move Ahead Of WWE WrestleMania
WrestleMania 42 is less than two weeks away, and WWE made a huge Triple H announcement on Raw this week.
On the April 6 edition of Monday Night Raw, the Stamford-based promotion announced that the Chief Content Officer will be a guest on the upcoming episode of Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast. The episode will be available to watch this Thursday.
Jonathan Coachman Slams Triple H For “Zero Sense” Move
Following the announcement, ex-WWE personality Jonathan Coachman took to Twitter to criticize WWE and Triple H for this move. Coachman blasted Hunter for having himself as the guest on Cody Rhodes’ podcast instead of using the opportunity to advertise WWE talents who will be in action at WrestleMania 42 later this month or someone else from the roster.
Coachman added that ex-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon would never come in front of the camera unless it directly led to views or ticket sales. Coachman claimed that Triple H being a guest on Cody Rhodes’ podcast makes “zero sense at this time.”
Coachman tweeted, “Cause this is what they need less than 2 weeks before Mania. A sitdown with someone who doesn’t sell tickets or the espn app. This is what we are talking about. How about sitting down with the 4 teams in the girls match? Or Dan Hausen? Or anyone. Vince would never be in front of the camera unless it directly led to views or ticket sales. Makes zero sense at this time.”
