Triple H Buries Ex-Champion Again As Becky Lynch Snaps At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Becky Lynch completely snapped at Saturday Night’s Main Event, losing her composure in a chaotic non-title match against rising NXT star Sol Ruca.
WWE initially posted a graphic advertising the bout as a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match, but The Man took to X to shut that down, insisting Sol Ruca had done nothing to earn a title shot. That’s why the bout was changed to a non-title match.
The tension boiled over during a high-stakes match tonight. Sol Ruca countered a Lynch attack, placed her against the turnbuckles, and climbed the turnbuckle to execute her signature Sol Snatcher springboard cutter.
Seeing this, a desperate Lynch intentionally pulled the referee into Ruca’s path, causing an immediate disqualification victory for the young challenger.
Becky Lynch completely lost it after the loss and attacked the WWE star
Following the referee’s decision, the tension escalated further. As Ruca attended to the situation in the ring, Lynch used her Intercontinental Championship belt to catch Ruca off guard with a strike. Continuing the aggressive display, The Man executed multiple Manhandle Slams, leaving Ruca incapacitated in the center of the ring.

This post-match display cemented Lynch’s shift in character and her determination to remain at the top of the division. Whether that leads to a rematch, likely with the IC Title on the line, remains to be seen, but The Man snapping Sol Ruca made it clear that WWE CCO Triple H buried the former NXT Women’s North American Champion.
