Tony Khan’s Important Announcement Revealed On AEW Dynamite

An important announcement was promised by Tony Khan for AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night and it was left to Adam Cole to deliver the message to the fans.

Excalibur noted on commentary during Rampage in Laredo, Texas that on the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite to be held in Phoenix, Arizona Tony Khan will be making an “important announcement.”

Ahead of Dynamite, Tony Khan spoke to the Phoenix New Times and gave a small insight into what fans can expect when asked if the announcement was linked to Forbidden Door 2:

“There are a lot of exciting things in the near future for AEW. All I can say is we have an important announcement coming at this show in Phoenix. And it’s an exciting development for the company, and I’m excited to share it with the fans in Phoenix and all over the world.”

On Dynamite in Phoenix, Arizona Tony Khan left it to Adam Cole to deliver not one but two big announcements. First Cole announced the arrival of AEW: All Access, a new reality show that will follow the trials and tribulations of AEW stars which will premiere in March.

Adam Cole also noted that he will be returning to the ring on the 1st of March edition of AEW Dynamite after nine months out of action due to issues surrounding concussions.

A press release from AEW touted what fans can expect from AEW: All Access:

“Billed as the ultimate behind-the-scenes experience for fans, the series will feature Adam Cole, Dr. Britt Baker, Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti, The Young Bucks, Saraya, Wardlow, and Eddie Kingston along with AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan.

“Each episode will showcase AEW’s stars as they navigate the week-to-week challenges to remain at the top, and will track the rivalries between talent as they vie for fans’ attention. Over the course of the series, viewers will get the chance to follow the contentious lead-up to AEW’s major wrestling events and matches. “AEW: All Access” will complement TBS and TNT’s portfolio of top-rated wrestling content, including “AEW: Dynamite” and “AEW: Rampage” respectively.”
