What has The Rock got planned?

On the February 16th episode of SmackDown, The Rock officially joined The Bloodline. However, some fans have wondered whether his true intentions are yet to reveal themselves.

Despite disparaging Cody Rhodes and talking up his new partnership with Roman Reigns, lots of fans on social media picked up on the fact The Rock appeared to point at Reigns when he said he would make sure “you” (addressing Rhodes) would walk out of WrestleMania a loser.

This created a whole host of new speculation centred around whether The Great One was actually planning to help Rhodes overthrow the Tribal Chief.

Interestingly, The Rock might have given another hit about his real motivations in a new post on social media. The WWE legend made sure to mention the record-setting SmackDown crowd, but it was his reference to “Always speaks the truth. Even when he lies” that caught the eye.

He’s back.
Greatness sins.
Devil disrupts.
Always speaks the truth.
Even when he lies.

Record setting crowd.
Thank you SALT LAKE CITY.
Mana. Energy. Eruption. Chills.

The Rock Pitched Heel Turn And Huge WrestleMania Match

The appearance on SmackDown came after it was reported that The Rock pitched his recent heel turn as well as a match for WrestleMania. The report noted that after quickly realising fans were behind Cody Rhodes, and he wouldn’t be seen as a pure babyface, The Rock pitched to step aside so Rhodes could face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.

Furthermore, The Great One himself asked to turn heel, while also pitching a huge tag team match that would see him team with Roman Reigns to take on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
