The Rock Officially Joins The Bloodline

The Rock is back in WWE and now everyone knows exactly where he stands as he cemented his alliance with Roman Reigns on SmackDown.

The Rock returned to WWE and initially looked to be set for a huge WrestleMania showdown with Roman Reigns. However, after a public outcry, WWE seemed to pivot and returned to Cody Rhodes using his Royal Rumble win to face Roman Reigns once again and he upset The Rock when he spoke about Reigns’ family.

The Rock pointed out that Reigns’ family is his family before he slapped Cody Rhodes hard across the face. Now The Great One has returned to SmackDown and made clear exactly where he stands.

The Rock Smells What The Bloodline Is Cookin’

The Rock and Roman Reigns returned to SmackDown in Salt Lake City with The People’s Champ returning to his smack-talking self as he tore strips off the crowd. He belittled them as only The Rock can before turning his attention to Cody Rhodes.

The Rock told Rhodes that he already lost to Reigns at WrestleMania and getting another shot at the title is not how things work. That is despite Rhodes winning the Royal Rumble again and therefore earning a shot at whichever world champion he chooses to challenge.

The Rock finished his monologue by calling The Bloodline the most dominant “duo” in WWE hinting that he and Reigns will be forming a team under that name as the group includes more than just them before finishing off with “If ya smell what The Bloodline is cookin’.”

Many believe that The Rock and Roman Reigns will team up on night one of WrestleMania 40 and a match involving them could be made at Elimination Chamber when Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes will both be guests on The Grayson Waller Effect.
