The Cavinder Twins Make NXT TV Debut

Haley Cavinder Hanna Cavinder

Two college athletes might have traded in the NCAA for Chase U on Tuesday night as the Cavinder twins made their on-screen NXT television debut.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder previously decided against pursuing their fifth year of eligibility in the NCAA in order to join WWE. The social media stars bring with them quite a following and now it seems they could be inching closer to competing in the ring.

Prior to NXT Hanna Cavinder took to social media to tease that fans might “see your new fav tag team in the ring tonight.” Rather than being an addition to the women’s tag team division – for now – the twins were actually there to celebrate Thea Hail’s win in the battle royal with the rest of Chase U.

Hail won the match to become the new number one contender to the NXT Women’s Championship currently held by Tiffany Stratton. The battle royal was also notable for having a current Raw star competing in it, causing questions about their status on the WWE roster.

Also on NXT, former NXT Champion Bron Breakker had his sights set on bigger prizes as he made an audacious challenge to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to return to the brand and put his title on the line against Breakker.
