Surprising Update On Saraya’s Rumored WWE Return
First-ever NXT Women’s Champion Saraya continues to be linked with a return to WWE.
Saraya has been a free agent since leaving AEW in March 2025 after coming to an agreement with company President Tony Khan. The former Women’s Champion’s contract had six months to run at the time of her departure.
From the moment her exit was confirmed, Saraya has been linked with a return to WWE. It was with WWE that she first rose to stardom, and she’s known to have a strong relationship with Triple H. Furthermore, she’s previously confirmed that the company tried to re-sign her after her contract expired in 2022; however, she decided to join AEW.
Those rumours only increased in the lead-up to Evolution when Saraya admitted she’d “think about it” if asked to return at the event. During the same interview, she confirmed that she plans to resume her wrestling career.
Is WWE Interested In Saraya?
Despite the speculation, it’s been reported by BodySlam.net via Patreon that WWE isn’t interested in re-signing the British star, at least for the time being. According to the report, there haven’t been any discussions about bringing the star back, and she wasn’t considered for an appearance at Evolution.
For her part, Saraya has repeatedly stated that she hasn’t held talks with WWE and likely wouldn’t wrestle in 2025, instead choosing to focus on other projects.
The one-time leader of The Outcasts hasn’t wrestled since competing on the October 8, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite.
