Her influence on Vince McMahon and Co. acted as a huge catalyst for how women were placed within the global juggernaut.

Stephanie McMahon and Trish Stratus were humbled

On an episode of What’s Your Name? With Steph McMahon, she and Trish Stratus and she reminised about their time in the ring. They remembered their second-ever match and looked back on clips from that.

Both of them revealed that they had become overconfident and believed they were wrestlers, but could not live up to the expectations from a pro-wrestler.

McMahon: Then we had rotten, like I would say, probably stunk to joint out.

Stratus: I remember coming back, and we were like, ooh.

McMahon: Yeah, you, and we knew it. Like that one spot. After that, the second, Behind like I don’t know what that was.

Stratus: We just crumbled. Someone like shot us from the audience.

McMahon: Yeah, like what happened? We were humbled quickly.

Stratus: Indeed.

Stephanie McMahon makes sporadic appearances during premium live events.
