BREAKING: Female Star Makes Stunning AEW Debut At Forbidden Door

A World Wonder Ring Stardom superstar made their stunning AEW debut at Forbidden Door.

Maika was announced as the opponent of Skye Blue as part of the Survival of the Fittest elimination match for the TBS Championship, their match taking place on the Buy In show.

The TBS Championship was vacated by Willow Nightingale after she legitimately injured herself during her match against Red Velvet on the May 16 edition of AEW Collision.

Subsequently, a Survival of the Fittest elimination match was announced, with several matches having already taken place on the flagship show and Collision.

Maika Scores Big Win During AEW Debut At Forbidden Door

Maika arrived from Stardom to face The Triangle of Madness’ Skye Blue.

Of late, Blue has been dominant in her singles and tag team clashes, but going up against the former World of Stardom Champion would pose as a major task.

Also in attendance was Stardom President Taro Okada, who has continued his feud with AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla.

The match witnessed both women exchange offense in and out of the ring. In the closing minutes, Maika hit Blue with a suplex on the ring apron before ending the clash with a hammerlock Michinoku Driver to become the final qualifier for the Survival of the Fittest match.

Hikaru Shida, Persephone, Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, and Queen Aminata had already qualified for the elimination match. The new TBS Champion will be crowned on the July 1 edition of Dynamite.
