Possible Spoiler On New Hurt Syndicate Member In AEW
A member of The Hurt Syndicate would welcome a current AEW champion to the group.
The Hurt Syndicate is an AEW stable consisting of veteran wrestlers Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, along with their good friend MVP, who sometimes wrestles but is mostly the group’s manager/mouthpiece.
Lashley and Benjamin have been AEW World Tag Team Champions together and have also had success as singles wrestlers.
Earlier this decade, before joining AEW, they were a stable known as The Hurt Business in WWE, with Lashley holding the WWE Championship. Cedric Alexander was also part of the group, but he now works for TNA.
In an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Shelton Benjamin was asked if the current TNT Champion Kevin Knight would be a good fit in The Hurt Syndicate.
“Absolutely, no question. Straight up yes. Absolutely.
If it were my choice today, if I said I wanted a new member in The Hurt Syndicate, The Hurt Syndicate wants a fourth member, without a doubt my first pick would be Cedric Alexander. My second pick would be Kevin ‘Jet’ Knight.” (H/T Wrestlepurists)
The Hurt Syndicate did have a fourth member in 2025, when former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman was part of the group, but it was a short-lived angle that was ultimately dropped.
Kevin Knight is a successful TNT Champion who previously formed the Jetspeed tag team with “Speedball” Mike Bailey in AEW.
