Tatum Paxley became the new NXT Women’s North American Champion at NXT Vengeance Day on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Paxley defeated Izzi Dame to capture the championship in a dramatic match.
The closing moments of the match were chaotic. Dame’s stablemates from The Culling, Shawn Spears and Niko Vance, attempted to interfere. However, in the confusion, Dame accidentally struck Spears with a forearm. After the match, Paxley received her side plates on the newly won championship. She later went backstage to show the title to Shawn Michaels, who currently serves as the head of creative for WWE NXT.
