NXT Great American Bash 2026 created history tonight as the show became the first Premium Live Event to air on the CW, along with ESPN, as it aired live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The show featured seven incredible matches on the card, including a total of five title matches, which would see both the NXT and the North American Championships be defended on the show.

NXT Champion, Tony D’Angelo kicked off the night as he defended his title against Naraku, despite not being 100% following a fireball to the face that injured his right eye.

The match was off to a fast start as D’Angelo speared Naraku through the stage before continuinng his assault in the ring. Naraku took control of the match by attacking the champion’s already injured face.

Every time Tony tried to gain control of the match, Naraku would attack his right eye to dominate the champion. He took firm control of the match as D’Angelo writhed in pain.

Despite attacking the injured champion, Naraku wasn’t able to keep him down for long as D’Angelo showed incredible resilience to fight through the pain and come out on top.

He reversed all of Naraku’s attempts and immediately recovered from a nasty German Suplex to hit him with the Dead to Rights from out of nowhere and handed Naraku his first NXT loss as he retained his championship.
